How do I install Followly?

Click the 'Add to Chrome' or 'Add to Edge' button on our homepage, then follow the browser's installation prompts.

How do I export my followers?

Go to Instagram.com, click the Followly icon in your browser toolbar, select 'Followers', and click 'Export'. The CSV will download automatically.

The export is too slow. Can I speed it up?

Yes! In the Followly popup, adjust the speed slider to a faster setting (e.g., 0.5s). Be careful not to go too fast to avoid Instagram rate limits.

Should I use a VPN with Followly?

Using a VPN is recommended for extra privacy and to avoid potential Instagram rate limits. A VPN rotates your IP address, making it harder for Instagram to detect automated activity. We recommend NordVPN for reliable and fast connections.

How can I check if my VPN is working?

You can verify your IP address and VPN connection at myip.foo. It shows your current IP address, location, and ISP. If you're using a VPN, the displayed location should match your VPN server location, not your actual location.

I hit the 1000 profile limit. What now?

Upgrade to a premium plan (30-Day Pass, Monthly, or Yearly) for unlimited exports. Click 'Upgrade' in the Followly popup.

How do I activate my premium after purchase?

After purchasing on the website:

  1. Click the Followly extension icon in your browser
  2. Click the "Sign In" button
  3. Enter the same email you used for the purchase
  4. Check your email for the magic link and click it
  5. Your premium will activate automatically!

Important: Use the SAME email address you used when purchasing.

Premium not showing after purchase?

If your premium is not active after signing in:

  1. Make sure you're using the SAME email you used during checkout
  2. Check your license email (subject: "Your Followly License Key") for the correct email
  3. Wait 1-2 minutes after purchase for the license to be processed
  4. Click "Restore Purchase" at the bottom of the extension popup to force refresh your license
  5. Alternatively: Restart your browser to sync your premium status

💡 Quick Fix: The "Restore Purchase" button instantly checks your license without needing a browser restart.

Can I use premium on multiple devices?

Yes! Your premium subscription is linked to your email address. Simply sign in with the same email on any device (Chrome or Edge) and your premium will sync automatically. Note: Chrome syncs your sign-in across all devices where you're logged into Chrome.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Paddle according to their refund policy. Contact [email protected] for assistance.

How to Get An Invoice with a VAT Number or Company Details Included?

If you need your company's VAT information added to your invoice, please click the 'Add VAT number' button in the Order Summary section on the left side during checkout.

Do you store my Instagram data?

No, we never store your Instagram data. All exports happen locally in your browser.

Troubleshooting

Export not starting

Make sure you're logged into Instagram.com and have navigated to a profile page before clicking Export.

Export stopped mid-way

Instagram may have rate-limited you. Try again with a slower speed setting (e.g., 1.5s or 2.0s delay).

CSV file is empty

Ensure the profile you're exporting has public followers/following. Private accounts may block exports.
